“Vic Clark” Roanoke Division ARRL Service Award

Established in 1969 by Director Victor Clark, W4KFC, this award recognizes a long history of significant, consistent contribution to Amateur Radio within the Roanoke Division.

2024 Honoree

Mike Aimone WA8AHZ

Fairfax, Virginia • 57th recipient

First licensed in 1961, Mike served an accomplished career in the U.S. Air Force, later as Assistant Chief of Staff. With the Vienna Wireless Society, he has led mentorship and licensing programs, assisted families of Silent Keys, and served as President of the Vic Clark chapter of QCWA. Mike embodies the spirit of service through numerous selfless contributions to Amateur Radio.

Nominations

Nominees must be living individuals with at least three years of continuous and current ARRL membership and a primary residence within the Roanoke Division. The honoree can receive the award only once. Judging is conducted by living past recipients.
